We cover a wide range of topics and welcome a diverse group of guests from all areas of society including religion, the arts, finance, child rearing, government, business and educational leaders, healthcare professionals, and many other accomplished individuals, all of whom bring a unique perspective on the local, national and global issues we face to date.
Off The Cuff’s online and community outreach programs will be carefully curated for the benefit of American males needing guidance and mentorship. Through discussion, topics and guests often include; Addressing the lack of emotional maturity and true masculinity in today’s society. Acknowledging and improving the social and environmental factors around some men and boys. But also current and social issues facing men, and early access and exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education, mentoring, and having a “mirror of relevance” approach, which can promote positive self-image among young men and help them see themselves as future professionals.
Through volunteered community outreach efforts, Off The Cuff ("OTC") is committed providing consistent role models and mentorship for our young boys in an effort become the type of adults that we want our children to emulate. Whether it be spiritual or philosophical guidance, OTC strives to prepare our youth to face the world with goals and forethought.
We welcome the opportunity and responsibility of providing these children another choice in life by being around individually successful and positive men with similar goals and aspirations.
Via live, often interactive streamed online content, panel and group discussions, workshops and one-on-one sessions, the OTC platform offers our youth life experience and wisdom from those of all walks of life, often working to also develop the spiritual lives of our young Men.
Specifically, the OTC outreach program works to:
• Address the lack of emotional maturity and true masculinity in today’s society.
• Acknowledge and improve the social and environmental factors around some men and boys.
• Cover current and social issues facing men.
• Highlight early access and exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education, mentoring, and having a “mirror of relevance” approach, which can promote positive self-image among young men and help them see themselves as future professionals.
• Address mental health and behavioral challenges (including substance use), which can hinder male educational attainment.
• Discuss spirituality and psychological factors such as the beliefs and expectations of others, self-perceptions, self-efficacy, and perceived racism can be barriers to entering the professional world among boys and men.
• Mentor and strengthen social support networks which can help young men overcome psychological barriers into becoming better men.
• Educate on the negative impact of a lack of financial planning and proper family planning.
• Teach our youth in how to best communicate in the professional world.
“Lads to Grads” – Lads to Grads (LTG) is a charitable initiative launched by K. Goslee Ministries and supported by donors and resources provided by the Off the Cuff program. With the goal of mentoring male youths, LTG works in collaboration with our local school districts to engage and challenge our youth to be their best, while also working to provide scholarships and in-kind donations of educational resources in school supplies and technology.
Through teaching them independent life skills, emotional maturity, interviewing skills, proper communication, and compromise, LTG aims to help our boys understand how to responsibly grow into manhood. LTG will be conduct through both in-person and virtual workshops and educational sessions provided at no cost to the boys or their families.
Initially serving the Inland Empire of Southern California, the ultimate vision is to expand LTG into various national chapters with a variety of school district partnerships and corporate sponsors.
K. Goslee Ministries and Lads to Grads intends to engage men of color in fraternal, social, faith-based, and professional organizations to get involved in one-to-one mentoring to change the odds for boys of color especially.
With the support of a variety of players, we can have a great positive impact in the lives of many youth, who will soon begin to shape our world.
